美索不达米亚农村的仪式和身份：青铜器时代中的希尔伯默登·特佩和底格里斯河上游河谷
在土耳其东南部提格里斯河上游西岸的Hirbemerdon Tepe相对较小但具有战略意义的地点发掘了重要成果。青铜时代中期（2000年）–该遗址位于公元前1600年），位于生态分层的景观中，包括适合农业的河阶以及适合牧民和狩猎活动的林地高地。 Hirbemerdon Tepe考古项目进行的这些发掘的重要结果是，在高丘北侧发现了保存完好的建筑群以及相关的仪式文物。本报告在地理，文化和生态环境中描述并定位了这个青铜时代中期的遗址。它研究了这个小型区域中心的出现，并调查了礼节活动在公元前第二个世纪初以来在美索不达米亚北部边境地区社会融合社区发展中的作用。
