希腊迈锡尼地区的区域权威应使用来自中心和腹地社区的挖掘数据进行重建。由于线性B药片的存在以及考古记录中物质生产的有形质量，经济信息是对此主题的第一询问。为此，本文提供了一个起点，可以重新考虑在梅塞尼亚州尼古里亚的非pal骨群落中使用站点内人工产物分布，以此作为检测Pylos故宫中心与其区域依存关系之间的经济关系的一种方式。这项研究的结果表明，构成Pylos和Nichoria之间的等级关系的机构并不是基于建立主要的再分配经济体系来使整个地区的资源获取均等的。取而代之的是，在某些资源中建立象征性的价值等级体系，以及在政治机构中使用这些材料，例如盛宴和外来商品的分销，在建立区域一体化中可能比经济控制发挥更大的作用。
